I'm certain that even without cruise this film will be a total failure.
Some things are just left to the imagination.
Who wants to see young kirk and spock, kind like the adventures of the young indiana jones. :rotfl:
And frankly I can't really immagine JJ Abrams directing this film.
After the failure on alias, and the same thing happening to lost he wants to do a feature film ?:shifty:

I'm a big fan of "The Original Stuff", movies and the TV episodes, but it's over. The story has been told. They shouldn't try to get back to the glory old days of paramount by digging this up again. It's over, paramount sucks now, and they should accept it.

I can agree with you regarding Kirk and Spock but I happened to have liked the Adventures of the Young Indiana Jones.

THis may be the first Star Trek movie that I will skip. Cruise is probably my least favorite actor (Matter fact he is my most hated actor) so even though I watch all Trek movies that hit the theatre, this one will definitely break that tradition.

I'm not going to skip the movie because of a single actor, no matter how much I dislike him. I would, however, skip it if the critics say its terrible...or at least wait to rent it on DVD.

Ever since the couch jumping incident, he's a total freak to me. (In the same league as Micheal Jackson). I can't even watch Topgun any more without dry-heaving:oops: . I have seen zero of his current movies.
