As you probably know type IX boats were sent to the eastern coast of the U.S. in 1942 and sunk a lot of ships there not protected or in convoys. How well is this simulated in SH3, is it a good place to hunt?

Just out of interest, I've read how to install the file, but do I need to reinstall GW after I've put the new file in the campaign folder? I only ask because I didn't use the JScones mod enabler, so I'd have to reinstall SH3, right?
Hopefully I don't have to reinstall GW after adding the file, as I'd really like to try the Operation Drumbeat style campaign.
Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan,
After you have merged Ducimus' Drumbeat into GW Campaign layer and then saved the resulting file to the campaigns folder, just load up and play.
Nothing further to do except sit back and prepare for a loooooooooong journey.

Thanks for the quick reply - that's exactly what I wanted :D. I've currently just started a career in 1939 in a VIIB and I'll take this until 1941, then hopefully have enough renown to go on Drumbeat.
Cheers,
Dan

You'll have to be in port in between patrols when you merge the MIS file into your campaing layer.
Also if your a NYGM user, see the thread, i just edited in additional info.
