Ok so im playing its 1939 i get a mission that puts me into the square that scapa flow is, so natrely i take my chances at sneaking in which i did with little problem.

I selected my target the 28,000 tonne battle ship HMS Renown and sank her using all three of my forward torpedos.

the bottom is shallow so she didnt sink all the way but this post is to ask how the heck do i get screen shots cause i missed this one :(

Congrats on a great career start!

cont-F11 will take a screen shot, and stores it in your default SHIII folder.

Great job...

Now did the game actually give you credit for it?

Ive done the same thing only to not get any credit since the game did not register it as sunk because it hit bottom and would not go any farther.

If you can before you take a screenshot press Num Lock and Del on the num pad at the same time this will give you a clear screen to take a screenshot on.
Hope this helps:up:
Good luck with your career:up:

Shortly after I got the game I was doing a patrol in October, 1939. I was in U-52, a trusty VIIB U-boat. I had served my 24 hours in my ordered grid so I decided to head up to Scapa Flow. I had been there before only to find a bunch of destroyers on patrol and one empty harbor. I was expecting the same thing this round. However, fate had something else in mind. When I entered the harbor I could hardly believe my eyes. There was an Illustrious carrier and not one, but two auxiliary cruisers! I had enough torpedoes to sink all three! That was one of my best patrols. :know:

On the other hand, SH3 can be downright mean. I had upgraded to U-405 and decided to take a stint in the Med. I was on patrol when I picked up a hydrophone contact. Turns out it was a task force. I was in a bad position. No way was I going to catch up. They were doing 25 knots. The task force comprised of a Nelson and two Revenge class BBs. There was also a Dido cruiser. I could do nothing but see my hopes sail away. :damn:
