Searching for a particular sub or shipmate on the Shipmate Message board can seem a daunting task. There is a "Search" feature available in most browsers that will greatly speed up your search.

Simply press Ctrl F.

A search box will appear. Type in a single word, for example, the name of a boat-- Croaker , or a friend's name-- Wilson. The entire page will be checked in less than a second. Try several different spellings and keywords. Don't try two words in a phrase--the search will only return the results if it finds both words together, so stick to one at a time.

Once you've checked the page in this manner for your boat or friends, you can just check back every week or so and view the latest postings.
