Interesting interview with Le Carre, who, for the people who didn't know, was MI6 during the coldwar.

I enjoyed reading his books up to the Russia House after that the gritty element was lost.
The classic The Spy who came in from the Cold was made into a classic film starring Richard Burton one of his better films. And not forgetting the two other classic story's made into BBC series first Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley's People starring the late Alec Guinness. Great Books.
