this certainly was fantastic, ive got some screens myself of this action. I think the US would think twice about entering the war had this been real haha.

just some story for those interested. We started in a channel heading into Galveston, it was not long before 2 armed patrol boats discovered us and an aircraft. after a brief exchange of fire and some minor damage I bottled and submerged to PD (the water isnt any deeper than this). Chris remained on the surface and managed to damage the aircraft and severely damage the 2 patrol boats. I could see air dropped bombs exploding all around him, eventually I decided i had a duty to my fellow Kapitan and I surfaced to help him. I finished off the 2 armed surface ships and we moved towards the harbour area.

Submerged we entered the harbour area, explosions engulfed the entire area as we let salvo after salvo, the big merchants helpless in the docked positions. surprisingly the US had no underwater capability in the area, several armed boats stood helplessly hoping that we might surface. having ran out of fish it was time to make our escape.

I was out of the harbour before chris and surfaced to find a gun boat waiting for me. After a vicious exchange of fire i managed to escape with minor damage. Waiting for chris who deicided to make nearly all the journey to me submerged. we both had damage but had dealt the US a severe blow.

we attacked a convoy in icy waters, that was a mahor success but unfortunately Chris whilst sinking a huge number of ships, didnt make it out alive. we had a great time though and I think chris is a great guy to play with. He has given me a great first experience of SH3 online. I hope to arrange something regular with him and anyone he usually plays with
