Default Been a while...

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I last visited. Is there any kind of word on whether SH1V will have Starforce type copy protection? Or is it still way too early to be worrying about that?

Welcome back!

Ubisoft said a while ago that they will never use SF again:

I'm afraid there is nothing new around here. I'd apreciate some new stuff on SHIV.

Have you missed this and this, then?

An upcoming developer interview is "news" to me. I can't wait to hear the replies of the developers, not to mention the first screen-shots! It'll be awesome!

Good to be back, Guys. I'm glad about Ubisoft dumping Starforce. Of course, we don't know what they'll replace it with yet. I'm really looking forward to SH1V. I really hope they Beta test it so that we don't end up with 'patch mania' like we did with SH111. That being said, once patched to 1.4, SH111 was a very good playing experience in my opinion. I'm looking forward to hearing what the DEVs have to say about SH1V...if it's an improved version of SH111 set in the Pacific with a few lessons learned then I'm all for it.

Regards,

Terry

Exclamation I am Disappointed In UBI Soft.

Right After They Said That. They Came Out W/ GRAW that not only Has A (Worse) Ver of StarForce, But Enough Bugs To start there own Disease..

I Still Think Ubi Soft Makes Some of The Best Games out There, But I Guess They are going through The change in Life..

Publishers in general today don't care too much about the games they give out. I've bought a good deal of games recently, and it seems most of them are rushed, not followed up with patches, and/or abandoned for sequels, expansions, and "booster packs". It's a damned pity.
