Default Submarine Diary by C. Mendenhall

Many years ago I started reading the book "Submarine Diary - The Silent Stalking of Japan" by R.A. Corwin Mendenhall.

The bookmarker (old piece of paper with year 2000 on it) indicates I never made it past page 48. I am gonna start all over again of course.

Anyone around here read this book ? And what are your opinions ? A good read or just a so-so book ?

The book I am going to read after that is "Torpedoman" by Ron Smith

-- Update --

Read the first two patrols and I realy like the time he takes to write about the daily routine. For now the book gets a big from me
