war ending in 1940, bug or what?

I am using NYGM 2.0 and I did a patrol that ended in November of 1940. I stopped playing and then tried to play the game later on, but my save file says "The war ended!" and when I try to load it says that I can't because the war is done. Is this a bug of some kind or is there a random war end date or something. I am confused.

Go into your SH3 folder in My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\your captains name and look in the Careers cfg file for the line WarOver= and make sure it says false.
