SH3 Commander Issue

Hi all, I am currently in the WAW campaign and we have our first patrol orders (sweet) but I am having an issue with SH3 Commander. When I fire it up and input my Name, Flotilla, U boat number and type and my patrol quadrant and launch SH3 I launch the career I set up and the boat type, the quadrant number the boat number is all wrong.... anyone else encounter this or know of a solution?? Any help would be gretaly appreciated as I need to get sailing soon Thanks all

When you set up a new career via SH3Cmdr, SH3Cmdr copies relevant files and makes relevant data file changes ready for you to start your new career.

When SH3 loads you still need to physically start the new career as you ordinarily would. You need to select the "new" Commander's name that you entered in SH3Cmdr and then select the same year and Flotilla that you entered in SH3Cmdr, after selecting "NEW CAREER".

To remind you, SH3Cmdr adds the selected Flotilla and Year to the selection screen (ie YEAR (1943) FLOTILLA (1)). Follow these steps and you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the advice... I realized now I was "going to fast" in all my desire to get playing and selected the wrong start location for my flottille and it would screw everything up . Ahh well, got her going now, thanks for the answers
