Default Surface the boat sounds

Hey modders, why hasn't there been a sound mod for surfacing, theres a few for crash dive, but pressing the S key i'll only hear "Surface the boat" I remeber the SH2 Pacific aces mod had a nice surface sound you would hear talking in the back ground, blowing of valves etc., Im thinking of using the same surface sound from SH2 pacific aces for SH3 surface sound, although i know it wont be realistic as its american voices. Or Is there a surface sound for DL?

If you dont mind soundbites from dasboot in english, over on u-boot.realsimulation.com theres a little mod in the sound file section:

AnzacmickSoundModV1a.rar (replacement sounds like diving sequence, etc)
AnzacmickSoundModV1b.rar ( replacement voice commands)

D/L it and check it out. Some of them are well done. Some of them could use a little more work. Some of them, while they sound cool, are incorrect. An example of inccorect would the replacement voice command for surface.

You hear the captain say, "surface" some crewman repeat orders to open/close valves or what not, and then cheif say, "bow down 10, stern down 10". Well thats fine if your DIVING, but not surfacing. But..... it sounds cool, so i use it anyway

If you're playing in German, try my SailorSteve.zip. It includes a lot of the Das Boot Sound Mod from the SHII days, including the complete "Surface" sound file from the German version of the movie. I think that file was also used in Grey Wolves, but I'm not sure.

Where I can find your file? In www.u-boot.realsimulation.com I can't open the audio section.

If you're playing in English, try AnzacMic's mod. It's a good one.

I remember Pacific Aces. I still play it. I was astounded at the new sounds on that. Especially the krank phone The sound of that always makes me smile.
