Default Canada's Bait Car

This great stuff, shows what idiots thieves are!
http://baitcar.com/

My only complaint, the jail sentences are really light. A year for stealing a $20,000 car??

I read a comment that in the UK, this would be considered entrapment, is that true? I guess they want their cars stolen

Good one Neal, as for us lot in the U.K. the police love revenue raising. Catching the motorist out in speed traps seems to be their favourite pass time.

Great. I've seen some of this on TV before, glad to hear it's still working fine. Serves them right.

I was expecting something a little more old-fashioned.

Too bad they get out without any severe injury or major amputation.

LOL- A bear trap would be hilarious, just a bit too messy.

Nice vids- I like the one where the guy they busted had all the copies of Grand Theft Auto

The bait car program is catching lots of criminals these days here. I live about an hour from the car theft capital of canada, possibly the car theft capital of north america even. It's a slight deterrant for the thieves.

But you're right about sentencing, it's a joke especially in Vancouver. Recently a 20 year old girl was sentenced to 2 years house arrest after driving drunk and killing an innocent person. Actually that has happened three times in the last year.
