Default This sounds great and overdue,BUT.

Good news for a SHIV, but I always like the atlantic side a little bit more,
but I would buy SHIV anyway! BUT this could mean that we will not see
a German side of war tell 2009 maybe ????

Germans had more type's and better TORPEDOES

So SHIII will be four years old tell we get a new SHV???

need some input on this one!!!

And how long have we Pacific Theater Submarine junkies been waiting since the orginal Silent Hunter?

It will be about TEN years by the time SHIV finally hits the shelves.

Yeah, maybe SHIV is set in 1776 featuring The Turtle!

Yup, variation is key here. You want to play as Germany? Fine, so do I (or at least have an Atlantic theatre), but have you heard of Silent Hunter, Silent Hunter II, and Silent Hunter III? I hear they implement that part of the sub war pretty good :P ...

The greatest protracted and varied submarine campaign of all time was the Cold War. All things are relative, so bring on the new Pacific campaign.

No, gimme the Hunley! And an alternate-history scenario where you use it against Confederate ships!

Ok, but I still like the altantic side of the war, and I would buy a SHIV,
but I was thinking we will not see a subsim game in the Altantic role play
as a german, tell maybe 2009 I still think the germans had better tech, if
there where maybe 200 more u-boats germany could have won the war.
the US just could build ships faster than the u-boats could sink them.

The atlantic got 2 games by ubisoft for subsim warfare I think its only fair the pacific gets another now.

Besides im hoping that will allow you to import sh3 to have a complete campaign with the improvements.

yes like getting more of the ship types like the Battle cruisers, light cruisers and other surface ships not included in main sh3 game.
We need these ships and I want my favorites the Scharnhorst and the Gneisnau German Battlecruisers. We need these for our designers of missions and campaigns

We have an excellent U-boat sim available right now. I play it every day. I want to play the same game with an 'S' Boat, or maybe Narwhal or Nautilus. SHIII still needs some fixes, but aside from those it's a great sim.
