Default WTF Yahoo mail

I am at the moment on dialup as I await BB back.

anyway I can't get into Yahoo mail.

When I log in I get the file download dialog box which ~I never got on broadband or at work when I can get into Yahoo mail no problems.

I haven't changed anything for dial up so what is going on?

It changed the way it logs in, apparently. You need to go to your account settings in outlook and change the out going server settings to 'My out going server (SMTP) requires authentication.' But this was a few months back?

They have just 'updated' all their mail service in the last few days as well. I have had no end of problems with Bt-Yahoo mail for about 5 months. For ages it wouldn't let me send anything from outlook although mail got delivered Ok.

It actually all works the way it should now. The problem went as suddenly as it came... I have no idea what I changed.
