Tomorrow I`ll go to Bremerhaven and visit this type XXI boat face-to-conning tower
![]() As far as I could see in the online docu of 'Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum' there is a club which plans to rebuild the ship to a close original style (it served many years in Bundesmarine). I read a little about this boat class during the last months and I´m really curious about the current state of the boat. Maybe I´ll post some pix after getting back. Special wishes anyone? |

Think the pics of hull below deck casing should be possible. Isn't your name Cobra "The Toolman" Commander ?

All in all, you'll have a great time there. I was just there a couple of weeks ago and spent about an hour examining every last section of the boat. Plus, be sure to visit the adjoining Naval Museum - their displays are VERY well presented.
