Using the rotatable radar, I have a couple of probelms (patch 1.4b)
First, it keeps turning itself off all the time, even while I'm using it manually. Second, it's hard to fine adjust the dial; Thirdly, the contact disappears for no reason on the display, then comes back. peridoically. Usually, it disappears before I have time to read the bearing and range! Forth and last, the "peak" on the RADAR gets smaller as I get nearer to the target. Shouldn't be the other way round? Any fixes, ideas what might be wrong?

Well, I'm not very good at operating the radar, but I know this much:
It doesn't do so well in rough seas, and will keep turning itself off if water comes over the conning tower. That could also be the cause of your disappearing contact problem, too. Just a guess on the latter, though.
