Do they actually work? I've tried adding one about 5 times now setting everything to 0 with a 20 miles box around FFG, but each time I go into the mission the FFG I've setup right next to a dock drifts due to wind. I've looked several times but can't find anything obvious I'm doing wrong. Using 1.01 patch.

Yes they do work. Did you make a current box to zero also? For me I set a 'box' for currents and wind to zero around my naval base when making a mission to leave or enter a dock.

I did set both a current and a wind box. Guess I'll try again, I'm probably doing something stupid I'm just not noticing.

For what its worth I don't stick with the zero presets presented when making wind/current regions. I mean I give my "zero" currents some depth and my "zero" wind some height.
Ive also noticed that in a sea state of 4 or more berthed ships will still crash into docks eventually.

Okay, figured it out. I needed to set a max depth/altitude for the regions to work. Now my FFG sits at the dock next to Chinhae without moving. Back to mission building.
EDIT: Simultaneous posting is funny. Especially when we're both saying the same thing.
