Default SH3 on Windows ME?

Anyone playing with a Windows ME setup? If so, any problems?

You may be spinning your wheels if you try installing on 'ME'.

SH3 System requirements says: Supported OS; Windows XP/2000 ( Only ).

It's your call.

If you can, just get rid of WinME and install WinXP instead.

Your computer will be SO much better without WinME installed on it!

You may find games perform better under WindowsXP, as well has having a more stable Operating System (Other than Linux!).

My experiences with Windows ME were very bad, upgrade that O/S for your own benefit.

ME wasnt a bad OS -- as long as you didnt use the microsoft updates

Before XP came out -- when we were running machines at work on ME -- we learned to not use any of the MS updates ...as that is the path towards the "Dark side" :P -- it was much more stable without them.

ME is a slightly lighter load on Processor occupancy than XP too -- OK if your running an 800Mhz Duron or a PIII

You should be using at least Windows 2000, preferably XP Pro. Just throw ME away.

XP Pro is the best!
