Icon1 [Tutorial] How to interecept a radio contact (also known as The Hunt)

A while back, user Dantenoc gave us an amazing tutorial on intercepting radio contacts. While everything in the tutorial still holds true today, I thought it would be best to recreate it in PDF form with a cleaner look.

So I present to you The Hunt V2

I made it in photoshop so the markings and lines are easier to read. I didn't go into as much detail as Dantenoc does in his later posts but it does the job for the basic "intercept" portion.

Feel free to critique and offer suggestions on how I can change/improve the tutorial.

I can also provide an Imgur album if anyone is interested.

Happy Hunting!

- Changed some wording

- Added title page

Thanks zuff it looks great and clear.
One thing that got my OCD going however is that the two angles you drew are not the same size. (19degrees)

I'm guessing you just drew it as an example but the difference between the two angles might confuse people.
Hope you understand what I mean.
Greetz.

Done and updated! I also added some easier to read labels and a title page. The link for downloading is the same.

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't even think about that.

If you have any other suggestions, let me know!

The scale of circle radius (all possible own speed vectors: 160km) in comparison to the position of the mark along the target course(target speed-vector: 60km) is totally wrong. See from page 7 on how the circle passes just behind the target mark. Almost 1:1, yet 60:160 is 1:2.6! The process is correct, but vector scales are inconsistent.
