Unfortunately no-one seems to have an idea on this

I didn't even know it was possible to see latitude longitude info in the free camera view. What button does one use to make the lat/long info visible there?

Great to know! There are some areas in the game that don't have the grid system in place and with that info I'll be able to pinpoint the grid if and when I'll play in the far north or eastern Mediterranean.

with that option enabled u can find really easy your position on the map if u play with this real navigation http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...eal+Navigation need only to make some calculation

+8.10947 / +53.50745 =Long 8°6'56 / Lat 53°30'44 how u do it simple 10947 x 1.2 : 2 = 656 and same for the 50745 x 1.2 : 2 = 3044
