Silent Hunter Online Video Interview (German)
Like most subsim members my German doesn't go much beyond "Tauchen", "Auf Tauchen", "Torpedo Loss" & "Grosse Fahrt Voraus". Hopefully one of our German speaking members would be kind enough to outline the keypoints in this video interview on the subject of SH-online by Golem.de at the QuoVadis conference for us.

What i have understood is : SHonline will start "most likely" this "summer", so summer 2012.
(also reference was made to the "closed beta", which will start "soon".) |

just very briefly:
- it has a strategic (when/which/who to attack) and - a tactical (actual combat) and - a fleet management component - no 'pay wall' (payment results mainly in getting things/progress faster) - MMO features like 'wolfpacks' - target user: 'mature' user, with sim / naval interest - based on Flash 11 - availability summer 2012 if I got that right, not sure if he was referring to a public beta ? sounds nice for you folks...not for me...I'm a modern naval guy
