I don't understand cause i haven't change anything (no new mods, nothing), i haven't used "crew configuration buttons and 4 hours ago i loaded this game without problem. The dreaded save game bug maybe.
When you saved: Were you near land? Were you near other ships? Were you underwater? Those are common causes of the save game bug. Generally try to avoid doing any of the above. It seems peple are mixed with this. Some have had issues, others have not. I have been extremely lucky so far. I have ruthlessly violated all of the above principles, sometimes even submerged, under attack, and near a convoy and haven't had any issues. ![]()

We've all been there. Can't really add much to what Sharkbit said.
Remember to roll back SH3, the Commander utility, before you try again. If it still won't load, you'll most likely have to go all the way back to the last "In Port - Before Mission" save.

Thanks for your answers "kammaraden".
I've been investigating and changing a lot of things and i've finally discovered a solution for that problem. I usually save 4 times for every patrol. The first thing to do is a security copy of your folder placed in Myfiles/SH3 in other place of your hard disk. Then you try to load not the newst saved game but the penultimate or one before the newest. If you do that all your saved games (newst than this one) will be deleted. No problem, we have a security copy of the folder. If you get to load one of the old saved games, you exit the game without saving and you copy the security copy of folder SH3 to the right placement in Myfiles/SH3. You launch the game and you try to load the corrupted saved game.... EUREKA it works (at least i could recover my corrupted saved game by doing this).Excuse me for my bad english. I hope you understand my explanation. If not i could try to do my best but i don't promise anything ![]() Thank you very much |

I had a save go pear shaped recently. The save would load but a minute or two into game play and SH3 would crash. I knew the previous save was OK so I didn't lose the whole patrol.
