Default Will a sata 2 ssd help my system

Will a sata 3 ssd help my system . I have an asus p7p55d deluxe mobo with sata 2 and an i5 560 cpu OC to 3.2ghz . Considering the mobo is only sata 2 is it worth buying a ssd . Sata 3 is backwards compatible .

I "think" if your mobo is sata 2, then if you (can) connect a sata 3 to it, it will only run at sata 2 speeds so you would be wasting your money. If you can upgrade your cpu, do it. If you can upgrade your gpu, do it.

If you just have the hdd then a sata 2 ssd will help a lot, if you can move it all to the ssd.

I trust only OCZ SSDs. Reliable, affordable, and their product support is second to none

I agree with TDW, if I were looking for an ssd that would be my choice.
