These Navy ships pretty much all look the same from the inside, at least to me...

And that smell. Old diesel fumes mixed with the tang of corrosion and the chemical scent of paint. Of all the ships we visited only Old Ironsides smelled different. How you sailors can stay in the confines of those steel tunnels for months on end is beyond me.
