I have recieved a message informing all US Asiatic submarines to retreat to Fremantle Australia and base there. BUT my map still shows Surabaya as my homebase, with the tilted anchor, its been several weeks now in game time since I recieved the message and the map still hasn't updated.
Will the game recognise Fremantle as my home port and allow me to dock there??

There's a bit of a delay before your base actually switches over. Try heading to Surayaba and home that you're not unlucky enough to have it switch just before you dock.

Bit of a dilemma isn't it? I would hedge my bets and make sure I have enough fuel to cover either eventuality. |

I would go to Fremantle. It's beautiful this time of year and all those girls on Cottesloe beach are gorgeous

It shouldn't take several weeks, also depends on mods, if you're playing stock, I don't have a clue, I think with RSRD and TMO Surabaya falls around Feb 26- March 2... You may notice about a weeks lag time before the tilted anchor moves.
Regardless, when you dock, dock at the tilted anchor... However, I prefer the native girls that live on a small island near Timor.

That's been happening to me frequently in TMO. Sometimes my bases never changed despite the radio messages. Just keep returning to your current Home Port until the tilted anchor shows up elsewhere.

If You recieve that message then Youre home base is Freemantle no matter where the tilted anchor is placed, when You go to freemantle and recieve another mission then You see at the start of a new mission that Youre home base is Freemantle because it has a tilted anchor.
Its kind of a bug i experienced this in SH 1.4 and 1.5 so i dont think its fixable. Anyway if You recieve the message that You home base has been changed then You need to remember that You need to go back to another base after completing the mission objectives.
