Sitting here a little bemused after having had a wee dram or three...handed in my notice at work today and was rewarded with the respons..."We would like you to go full time and work an extra eight hours per week"

I have just finished (for the evening mind you), working in the basement. I am doing a total makeover of the basement, with a new bathroom, living room and a computer corner
My dad and I have just started on the bathroom walls. Progress is slooooooooooow. I could have completed a patrol in real time by the time I will be finished

BUT!! Contact! Computer corner! Bearing around autumn!

A bit cloudy weather here , 19 - 20C
I have just finished washing the car. It took me 2 hours to complete the task but it was worth it.
Now time to rest and then I will teach my daughter to write

Just finished marking some senior English papers and am about to go tickle the ivories for an hour or so, with a rather large glass of Scotland's finest as company.

Whoever said the children are the future is clearly not involved with them professionally, intellectually, socially or otherwise!
