Twisty periscopes?

Hi,

Just installed SH5 for the first time and I'm going through the mods to install like you do. Anyway, I've seen screenshots of sobers twisty periscope thingies but I cant see the mod anywhere in the graphics mods category, also if I do a general search I can only find references to a version of it it for SH3, is this mod part of something else or am I missing it somewhere?

Aren't they just part of the submarine skins?

No they are not. They have a specific 3D model for them. If you look in my FX Update mod in the sub .eqp (or is it .sns) files you'll see where I changed the periscopes to use the twisty ones. Easy mod one can do on their own.
