If you check in your docs/sh5/data/users/** you will see that you are stuck in the wrong flotilla
This has happened to we when I was testing and edited my save games to pass objectives.
You wil be stuck in this boat and the flotilla for the rest of the war

The campaign engine for SH5 must have objectives set and these can only be one of three things:-
The update I am working on will hide what is required.
So where in the past an objective may have been "sink 70,000 of the British coast" - it will now be "patrol the British coast".
The 70,000t requirment will still be there but just not seen. When it has been achieved, campaign stars will be issued etc.
The progress bar will still work - but you will not know how much you will have to sink. I am also changing the hidden numbers as I have now played through the campaign a few times and with feedback from this thread - I have a better idea what to set everything as

Thanks for all the info guys. Sounds great. I didn't know that the Deutschmod was already set for the Monsun Gruppe, since it hasn't been updated for a while, or so i thought anyway.

May I suggest you to provide us with a few more information on our likely targets, when the objective got other requirements than the mere tonnage sinking?
i.e: "patrol here and engage as many tankers (troop transports, enemy submarines, capital ships, etc.) as you can" as opposed to "patrol there and engage any ship/merchant within your range"
...or do you want to remove these requirements too?

thanks for getting back
just off the north west coast of ireland and even just below south ireland too where the convoys go to head in towards liverpool by cornwall. i sank a few medium english tankers but didnt get any contribution to the objective.

Friends! Help please, whether it is necessary to use Flaggentest5 mod? I play now without it, flags on the former are frozen! Versions of mods MTNS and OH II most latest.

So this will suggest all cargo.
If there are specific targets - yes, it will say Attack Oilers etc - just not how many
Uekel spotted this and I used the working one in the patch.
to check your flag.dat goto - C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Library
the flag.dat should be date modified 11/10/2011 19:33 312KB

You have found an error in the campaign
You should be seeing a patrol area, but I have not added it
I will fix this in the next update.

Starting new Career
Having not played SH5 + OH II for a while (Skyrim is to blame) I am back for some serious hunting. I downloaded the latest version of OH II 1.9.
Do I still have to start and save my first mission in the bunker and when starting a new campaign ? I remember that was in OH II 1.4 the case. I could not find this piece of information anymore on the first page of the thread.

Mines are working ok for me
Mare Nostrum should be the 23rd flotilla.
If you are in the 23rd flotilla your game is still ok as the type B is a fail safe boat for this.
If you are still in the 2nd flotilla - your game is messed up.
If this is the case - all I can suggest is to try a save game from when you were in the 2nd flotilla - (HappyTimes).
So try a save just before you finish happy times
If you are still stuck in 2nd flotilla when you then pick MareNostrum again - try picking WesternApproaches (6th flotilla)
