Default How to turn on Rain in scenes.dat

I'm actually editing my scenes.dat file with Silen 3ditor, so far I'm able to create any weather I want, and wind, and coulds, and fig, but somehow I'm not able to turn on the rain. I'm already searching for a solution since a few days, so I'd be really thankful if someone could give me an idea what variable I'd have to edit in my scenes.dat file so it finally starts raining

I don't recall ever having adjusted that, so I probably won't be much help except to say welcome aboard!

If you want rain in a single mission just edit the mission file and change:

Clouds=2
CloudsRand=1
Precip=1

If you want rain in a campaign just have patience...

Well through the scenes.dat file you'd be able to change the weather anytime to whatever you want. Just save the game, make some changes in the file and reload it.

The only downside is that I haven't found a way to control the rain, yet....

I don´t know how to "create" rain (never looked at it) but I know how to stop them. See here:

I guess that this is more or less what you are looking for using scene.dat, no?
