Could you elaborate on that statement please, I don't follow the logic that 'mixing' is causing our extinction. Genetically speaking the entire world should be encouraging native Africans to spread their genes the world over since they contain 95% of the genetic variation of the entire species, which is what we're going to need when the big killer bug comes around, or when environmental and climatic changes exceed our capacity to adapt.

I blame the recession. Too much time and not enough money to spend that time in constructive ways. People start to think. Not think of new ways to cure cancer or re-route the plumbing so you're using rainwater for toilets.

No, that paranoya thinking, you slowly start to realise, the goverment is working against you. That you're taxes are not spent on fixing potholes. Then when you're most vulnerable the media starts to fill your mind with BS. And the mess in your head starts to ferment. A torrent of thoughts starts to clear. Yes, yes, the bumblebees, the damn bumblebees. The soft furry fat versions of bees. It's a ploy, they're after us. Slowly picking us off one by one, blaiming the wasp or a hornet. Leaves us defenceles, unprepared. And it's the goverments fault, showing us the bumblebee as a kind neighbour, a friendly newcommer to the community, while in reality they're plotting against us.

As always Twitter seems to be the place to follow events, BBC and Sky seem to be lagging behind things a bit, perhaps to try and avoid enflaming tensions with coverage...a bit of a case of shutting the door after the horse has bolted in the age of social media I'm afraid.

However, it's too early to call this event at Enfield a riot, at the moment it's little more than a disturbance. Nevertheless the police will be clamping down heavily on any flare ups after last night, one thing you can say for the force, they learn quickly.
