A British man, born on the Falkland Islands has become the first person from there to chose Argentine citizenship.
James Peck was handed his national identity card by Argentine President Cristina Fernandez, during a ceremony to mark the 29th anniversary of the end of the Falklands War. Peck's father fought for the British during the conflict. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-13780144 Note: 15 June 2011 Last updated at 13:08 GMT

This does not please me. I have known quite a few men from my old regiment who fought in the Falklands. During the brodcast they state they are people of peace, then why the offensive move on the small detatchment of marines in the first place, apart from the obvious!
