Hey FNG here!
Hey guys I thought I would join the forum on here after trolling around and seeing the great work that people do with the Silent Hunter game series!
Im not a modder at all but I sure do appreciate the poeple that do spend the time and effort that make the mods! I thought I would go ahead and ask but can someone help me get the GWX mod for Silent Hunter 3? I have been playing the game with the 1.4 patch and I want more from it... So please if anyone can walk me through I would greatly appreciate it! I went to the Grey Wolves website to download the mod and Im kinda lost on what to download from them and how to load it into the game... Sorry for my newb questions lol but I look forward to sharing the exploits of the crew of U101!

Don't get GWX from the GW site, get it from Jimbuna's Filefront page:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/user/JimbunaGWX2/ You will need all 7 GWX3 .bin files and the GWX3.exe file. Download them all to the same location on your hard drive (they must all be saved to the same folder). Double click on the .exe file to run the self-installer. GWX3 will only install over a fresh, unmodded v1.4 game installation so depending on the state of your SH3 installation you may have to uninstall/reinstall that first.
