1. That just shows me that I made her good.

2. Yes I know about the lighting bug. It`s because the aft tower and the hull is two seperate 3D models. Gonna merge them when I`m working on the next version.

Oops, sorry;
I meant : the three rear 152mm triple turrets don't move, shoot, or anything else. I placed several types of enemy ships just at her rear, and she only attacks with her AA guns. :-/

I'm having problems with her...

Guns missing (ghosts) and texture is "two-sided":


Two top images are port and starboard shot in TMO 2.1 and bottom image is stock SH4.


And after closing Museum and exiting from SH4 (both stock and TMO), it's with an error "SH 4 stopped working"... never happens otherwise.


But it's a darned good looking ship!

Don`t know why it suddenly isn`t two sided in TMO and is the guns missing in both stock 1.5 and TMO or just one or the other?

There are no differences on ship between TMO/Stock.

After testing in TMO, I installed her in stock to verify the problem isn't with my TMO 2.1 FTT
My stock install is an untouched SH4 UBM Gold Edition btw.

Guns are not missing per se, but appears like "ghost-like".
Seen from above they are invisible, but bringing camera down as in pictures, they show up...

Like sailors on bridge sometimes appears semitransparent... hmm...

...running to make tests with env.setting off... right.

With Environment Effects On and Volumetric Fog Off, high camera and low camera:

Had a test to verify - but same issues in OM Museum:


What can I be missing? Do I need to have other ships installed?

Now tested in stock, TMO and OM and no difference? Even with seperate datafolders (SHS, SH4 and SHO)?


Btw. the "different" colours I mentioned above *may* be a matter of seeing the ships sides in sun or shades...

I don`t know what is causing you all this trouble as I tested it in both 1,5 and OM and she had her weapons and no transparent areas. You are correct about the sun and shade part.

Hello,

Karle94, A beautiful 3D model! I'm sure that these models require a lot of work!

But I must report, under the heading of "problems", that this model does cause me a black screen crash when I have looked at the Ship and looked at the Recognition Manual (in Museum) and closed it. Then hitting the 'X to get out of the Museum. Black screen crash of SH4 version 1.5 stock.

I've also had crashes to an empty desktop (no wallpaper) after viewing the ship, closing the Museum, and closing SH4.

No other ship (which are all stock from the game), causes this.

Perhaps that missing anti-air gun problem creates a problem? However I do see the big guns, which are really beautifully modeled. I hope to see the ship in action when I learn how to create a mission!

I have tested the ship against my H-39 in a single mission. I also tested the Sovetsky Soyuz. I know that both ships work but for some reasons the guns doesn`t fire. Do any one of you guys out there know why?

On the download I have, in the Library,one wpn_cannon is linked to the 380 but the other wpn_cannon is not linked to the 152mmDP. (actually it is not linked to anything.)
The 380 is linked, is that one firing?

The only weapons she`s firing is the AA guns.
