Default Georgia snow plow falls into hole

This video is amazing. That will sure wake you up! Wonder if the snow plow driver will ever be able to plow again without the nagging thought that a hole could be lying in wait underneath all that snow?

Only if he's in the army.

I just like to be polite about these things.

I thought every good sea story started that way... and clearly, after that mishap, that lad was in it deep.

Politeness: it's a Navy thing. You landlubbers just wouldn't understand.

Nay, not so. It's a 'polite' thing. Either you have it or you don't.

I don't, but I fake it real good, 'cause it makes me look...well, polite.

Did something similar in an ambulance, but not as drastic. Same scenario, collapsed a sewer pipe in a parking lot. Just sank to the axle, not swallowed whole like that guy.

Yowch, yeah I'd have said a sewer collapsed there, or an old covered over hole of some sort. We had a bus find an old mine shaft in Norwich back in the late 1980s, quite a famous picture:
