Quite an interesting collection, hadn't seen most of the foreign ones before. Found it funny that the one poster talking about submarines the girl is infatuated with his war patrol badge, and not the Silver Star right below it.

Some familiar ones, but really a cool collection. Really intense stuff indeed!

"Go on one patrol for us and the girls will swarm all over you. Go Navy!"

Or something like that.

Wow. Some of these are very dark given the popular tastes of the day. Great find, Vendor!

I think World War One had some of the most intense posters, things like "Destroy this mad brute!" and the poster of the drowned woman which was inspired by the Lusitania.

http://theoriens.com/anti-american-p...m-north-korea/

Here are some ones from North Korea, I think these are propaganda paintings meant to chronicle American atrocities during the war or something.

Warning they are sort of graphic....

I do believe the 7th one down is titled: Pvt. Jim and Cpl. Dowly at the battle of Getpoon village...

Always interesting to see the propaganda from different sides.

Thanks for posting this.

Some of those are pretty gruesome, assuming its WWII/Korea that these were done for?

Despite being a collector myself am ashamed of myself, but it wasn't until I watched HBO's The Pacific that I truly understand the value of a Purple Heart. The only Purple Hearts from my family you can see on the walls in the Pearl Harbor memorial, so being awarded it posthumusly has a whole different impact. Seeing what the Marines had to live through on Peleliu and Okinawa was mind blowing. Have read about the battles many times but never had a relative from the Pacific live through it to tell me their war stories and what Hell was really like.
