Default Mod for Kiel area details?

Hello!

Does anybody know if there is a Mod that fills the area of Kiel with details? When I depart from Kiel I'd like to see the city of Laboe and it's navy memorial monument. It's a very prominent landmark for that area. It's been build in the time of 1927-1936.

And here is a wikipedia article about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laboe_Naval_Memorial

cheers
Marc

A couple of different versions were done for SH3, which had no details at all. I'm surprised to hear it's not in SH5. I don't think anyone has done it for SH5...yet.

I know there is a large mod with a collection of highly detailed ports and harbors. I don't remember what it is called, at the moment, and will need to wait to give you the info when I get home.

Hi Marc!

I converted some monumemnts from WAC to SH5 but I made them for SH5 1.1 and lately I realized they did not seem to work for 1.2. So I relesed them as a WIP project for someone to finish...
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ht=harbour+add

Unfortunately nobody did not restart my project... I would like to finish my project... but until now I wait for TDW to finish his megamod because I don´t wanna collect hundreds of mods again to make Sh5 playable.

So.. maybe I´ll restart my proejct soon...

greetings
Han

I finally remembered to look up the name of that mod I mentioned. It's called Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod_v1_1 which adds luscious details to many ports in the game. Check it out!

The actual version of Terrain_harbour_flags_Mod is 1.2.1, see this thread: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...=168545&page=7

Though it's a fantastic mod it doesn't contain the Marine-Ehrenmal Laboe
near Kiel.

Rats!

I'll update to the newer version. I haven't been to Kiel for a while so I didn't know if it had the memorial. Thanks for the info, Cerberus62!
