Pesky Germans ! LOL
Hi.
Ive got TMO20 RSRD & Patch and the Capt Midnight Radio progs. Nothing else. Im in a pigboat...why am I getting German commands repeated back to me!!!??? How did these pesky German stow aways get on board. Apart from the obvious security risks to an American boat on a war patrol its also rather annoying !!!! Not all commands, just some. IE the depths are being called out in German. When I get damaged I get a Germans screaming lol. HELP!!!!

Stock SH4 comes with no German speech at all. Somehow a mod must have installed it. Have you ever in the past played the German side?
[edit] I just went all through the stock SH4 files, and there is no German speech in them anywhere. Copies from other countries might be different, but the US release is Kraut-free, sans-Deutche, English-only. It has to have gotten there somehow, I understand that, but how is the question.

Ha! There is nothing wrong with the German language or zee Germans. However I really dont want them on my pig boat LOL!!!
Yes I have got some German spech files to go with my Op Monsun. However Im back using TMO now but they have somehow stayed!? Any ideas on how I can remedy this? **** Did sneaky re install...got rid of em! **** Last edited by TorpexXIII; 10-18-2010 at 05:08 AM. |

That sneaky reinstall is what I was going to suggest, as unlike SH3 there is only one set of speech folders. Glad you got it fixed.
