Batman Returns was and still is easily the best of the series, IMO.

Aye, Batman and Batman Returns are my favorites.
The 2 new ones are good, the Dark knight is very good...but there's one thing that pulls it down and thats Christian Bale's potrayal of Batman. Especially that stupid voice he does  HunterICX |

Looking forward to the third and final part of the Nolan trilogy. The first two movies I liked very much.
The first two adaptations by Tim Burton also were good - but the Nolan movies simply outclassed them, I think. Nothing wrong with the German synchronisation vopices, btw. No matter whether it is Michael Cain, Christian Bale or Heath Ledger - they are spot on and match perfectly (even match better than the original voices). The German voice of Ledger does an incredibly good job in adding psychomania to the figure.

If it's half as good as Batman Begins or the Dark Knight it'll be worth the wait
I wouldn't mind of Christian Bale dropped the silly voice either...
