On my last patrol I finally heard some dolphins or porpoises on the hydrophones. I had submerged to listen for a convoy I was hoping to detect and I heard the squeaking of marine life. Very cool!

Never heard 'em (either that or I was drunk when I did) but thats mostly because I spend very little time submerged

It was so neat to finally hear them myself after reading posts by others who had. I like to take over the hyrdophones myself from time to time, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear them.

Yeah taking over the hydros is always nice, especially when your sonar man loses a contact at about 1000m and cant "find" him
I think my sonar man is Bernard.

So, whats the verdict on SH5 - mines just sat there - still haven't re-installed since I bought it. I don't like the newness of it. (and the DRM)

If you use SH3Gen and the map shows XicebergX and you're not near the Arctic that too is a dolphin. Or so I've heard
