I am acting as C.o.O for the Flotilla and I am most comfortable using this
forum as a point of contact. I would ask that all interested and active
Captain's reply with info similar to my example reply.

Flotilla Captain Name: Heinz Blohme
U-boat number: U-33
U-boat Type: Type VIIB
Status: In Port. .

Please note: You will be sailing withing s pre-determined sim time
period (TO BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY), entering service at that
point in the war. Object will be to stay alive as long as possible,
using messages to B.d.U. as per requirements. I would only order
one requirement: take part and have fun.

Have added you both to the roster and will forward info to B.d.U for proper monitoring, Ltz.S. Schmidt. Be mindful of a possible date adjustment, you could then decide if you want to work within that period. You could treat current patrol as a shakedown cruise if so. You would be ordered to return to port. Up to you. I have some good patrols in mind for a Type II.

Agreed Smilinicon ready to take orders I am just just about to reach current patrol grid its Aug. 6 now and thank you I am glad to be with my flotilla again that shore leave started to get unnecessarily long and boring...

All captains can expect a sim-time period that covers September and October 1939. All will have to return to Kiel no later than mid-Nov.1939 during the period below:


probably 22.Sept.2010 - 10.Oct.2010


FNG's will depart on or about 05.Sept.1939 You will be able to do one long (with resupply) or two normal patrols.

#### PLEASE NOTE EXTENDED TIME PERIOD CHANGE TO MID-NOVEMBER 1939. NEXT PATROL PERIOD WILL BEGIN 01 DECEMBER 1939


Vets will depart on 09.Oct.1939. Expect a similar patrol period as first patrol. Some time added so vets won't have to cut short their patrols.
