8h Air Force Museum in Pooler, GA

Anyone been here recently? I visited around 1998 when I was a kid, it was cool but could tell it was new and had to grow some.I'll be in Savannah a couple weekends from now to visit, thinking I may check it out.

was there 2003 I enjoyed the static displays , cuttaway of the double wasp, it's worth the stop.

The Memphis Belle was actually on display in Memphis at Mud Island for a long time, saw here there when I was a kid as well.Funny thing is I didn't realize then that I had seen the Memphis Belle lol. I read that due to weathering and other issues, the Air Force took the plane back and is restoring her so she is no currently on display anywhere.

Looks like it would be a worth a visit. They do have a B-17 there undergoing restoration. The City of Savannah. As well as a B-24 and several other interesting exhibits. If you go you gotta post some photos.
