Yeah I've had it for awhile, it seems the periscope depth is a bit off though as it will settle at around 14m and if I select 12 or 11 meter depth it refuses to rise up until I select 10m or shallower. Also if you dive below 50m its a good idea to stay at a speed level of 2 or higher... otherwise I just keep slowly sinking until taking damage if I'm not paying attention.

Which tower two?
On my game I have three options, the 1st one (Which is a Type7As tower), the second (Which is a 7C Tower) and the ugly ass third one with the wintergarden..

When you get the VIIB you can choose 3 towers. The Conning tower 1 2 or 3. is the standart VIIA tower the VIIA VIIB or the VIIB tower or adition extra AA guns .

Krauter,
A few type VIIBs had a seperate gun nest when more AA protection was needed. The VIIB's tower shape did not allow an extended wintergarden as seen on later Type VIICs. It may be ugly, but that is how the B got more AA protection. This was applied in this manner to only a couple. |

There's really no need to use it either, any sub captain worth his salt does not engage aircraft! Hell, if I had been captain of one of those boats, I would have had the bloody things removed and the tower streamlined.

Exactly. Think of the extra drag that kind of set up would cause; these boats are slow enough submerged as it is!
