Is there anyone who can tell me how to use the spruchform?
I´ve found a generator here; http://www.cryptomuseum.com/kits/enigma/support/efg.htm But I cant find an example of how to use one. Or perhaps I´m not looking close enough or in the right place?

@ Dragunov
As we encode or decode our messages ourselves, we don't have the use for it. This would be of use if, for example if you were at your PC desk as Kaleun, and a friend of yours would be sitting next to you taking the job of the Sonarman. You would compose the message on this sheet and pass it over on to him to encode. I don't know if it was of much use in a sub, as they were all in walking distance from each other ( unless it was for the Kaleun to make sure its own word were used ) However I'm quite sure It was usefull in the Wehrmacht, were units could sometimes be quite distant from each other... In which case the only way would be to write it down on a formatted sheet like this, and give it to a "runner" that would travel to the other unit to deliver it. This is an estimated guess...

Dear JMV,
I saw it in the movie "Das Boot" that´s how I started to look for it. The movie doesn´t have to be 100% accurate ofcourse. I thought the "radio-guy" just wrote down the transmitted (encoded) text, and one of the officers did the translation and vice versa. It is just to add to the immersion, the enigma simulator works fine. (I am also typing KTB´s ,Schussmeldungen etc)

That said, I might be wrong. May be they did in submarines too, and kept the filled forms as proof of what was transmitted...

Well done guys. Flotilla Enigma Officers are always looking for, and finding new things to explore.
