So Adobe is giving up on its conversion tool for Flash to Apple products due to Apple chaning its conditions.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8639240.stm I have to love this comment from Apple though... Apple responded in a statement to technology news site CNet in which it described Flash as "closed and proprietary". No I find flash to be annoying as it jacks up my CPU usage for no apparent reason when I am looking at a website, the more flash things the worse, though to be honest I think it depends on how the coding was done as some websites with flash don't jack up my CPU and some do. Thats why I use a flash blocker so I have the choice. |

As much as flash is annoying, the majority of websites use it...
If only the web was controlled by Yakob Neilsen - text based internet browsing.

amen to that.
I hark for the days when the net was used by students and academics and the great unwashed were unaware of its existense. Now any joe can spout his opinion which before would be confined to his mates in the pub. Yes I am an internet snob. |
