Adding HE to Flak Guns?

I want to add HE shells to my 20mm flak gun on my Type IIA.
I realise it is not historically accurate, but I wanna do it just for laughs, when shooting up trawlers etc.

I've done quite a few searches on this topic this morning.
Everything is pointing me to the basic cfg.

I have added HE=1000 to the 20mm Flak Gun entry, but the shells still do not turn up in game.

So, there must be another entry, either in the basic cfg, or in some other file somewhere, that needs to be altered.

Any clues anyone?

Or is it that maybe you just can't put an HE shell in an AA gun in the game, a hardcoded limitation?

Any help gratefully received.

Look for entries starting with "HE_" in your data/menu/menu_1024_768.ini file.

Many of the entries might be commented out with a ";" character. Remove and see what happens...

Make a backup before any edits.

You must also change the ammo slots near the bottom of the Basic CFG.
