Hi all,
I'm using SH3 Commander, GWX Gold plus, OLC plus a few other bits and pieces. I've started my ongoing career game from Commander, but when I go to load the last save, there are no save games in the list to choose from. I've checked in My Documents/Sh3 etc, and confirmed that they are still there, so why can't I see them in game? Thanks in advance for your help. Wibbs |

Not sure, as I've never encountered that before.

This has come up before but, I do not remember what the fix was. Try a search for the thread.

The solution was to add a character to the foldername that bears the captain's name. Like this:
C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Wilhe lm Rollmann_ (I don't know why that "Wilhelm" looks funny. There are no special accented charaters in there. ) It's a stuppid bug for which nobody has a a different solution for. I'm not sure but I think you can remove the extra character in the name AFTER you are back in port and closed the game and SH3Commander. I forgot about it and went back to sea. On top of it I made a visit to Vigo. So I'll have to live with it a bit longer. |

Thanks for the tip, that seems to have sorted it out.
