Problem with Observation Persicope

Hi Guys

Am I the only one to have this problem, in that after raising the Observation scope. it will not retract down again?
The attack scope is fine but I cant get this Observation one down at all, even after starting mission 2.

Any help / comments would be appreciated.

Incidentally, I have installed patch 1 so far and still have the issue.

i have this issue too. The solution???? DO NOT USE OBS PERISCOPE

There are lot of do,s and not to do,s in this game. You have to be careful. It is very easy to break this game.

Sigh.

You can't lower the observation scope because your still looking through it. The eyepiece is supposed to lower beneath the flloor.. one wouldn't want to get his head caught in the floor boards now would he

Get out of the view, and use the hotkeys to lower it. While manning it you can only lower it so much.

Attack scope doesn't have this "issue" because the eyepoint is fixed.

I just assumed it was because the Obs Scope eye piece retracts into the floor, so you can't realy retract it all the way down while looking through it (or you'd bang your head), I find if I stop looking through it I can lower it all the way down (might just be with the key commands mod though.)
