Calling the role....

Hi peeps, no pic today, but words will do, im not that handsome anyways.

40 years old, Dutch but immigrated to Canada late 2007. Took a while to settle, now balancing out.

Playing since the days of AOD, on my then kickass 386DX2 (not sure, im actually confident it was the Pentium Pro 200 Mhz...), still regretting not having the FLOPPIES anymore wish i'd could reinstall that piece of software. I skipped SH2, moved to SH3 when it released and have been playing that for a long while with the GWX mod.

Skipped SH4 and actually refused to buy SH5 till a few days ago, yet, as I had a financial easteregg I just bought a new kickass machine and... could... not... help... myself... walking... to... the... gamesection... of... the... shop...

To be blunt..., in my personal opinion, SH5 vanilla is a 50 dollar joke, an insult and the ultimate sign of contempt from Ubisoft towards its paying clients.

So... here I am... trying to make the best out of the basic framework SH5 vanilla provides me... I wont be a grabber... Here to stay and hopefully being able to contribute...

See ya'll around

Take care.

Welcome to the forums guys, and even though I am a few years late, welcome to Canada NavanCarver! (I am from Vancouver).

As for your CD Key Hunter... try emailing Ubi... it may help.. may not, but if you are just going to play SH3 you may as well try. Even though this is the most popular forum for the SH series, it is not the official one. Nobody here can actually help with an account issue.

Hi All,
Installed the game last night, thought I'd say Hello.
Slowly working it out.
I'm new to sub sims, so it is a bit of a steep learning curve.
Have just installed JGSME and am now wondering which mods I should install.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. It has been quite helpful so far.
Without you guys I would still be wandering around the pen trying to board my U-boat.
So I'm off and running, not very silent nor very deep.
Cheers Ben

Yes, and we do it in purpose out of our wicked will to corrupt every newcomer's unexpecting and innocent mind with our sub-neo-Nazi ideology of blowing up everything around (unless its name starts with U and numbers).

Shrinks are also welcome, there's never ending need for them on your doomed boats with zombie crews (go on, try some beans).

Welcom abo... on our forums, Kal... newcomer!

I shall commence by pointing out to you that my demeanour is not one which could be described as nonsensical.

That's perfetto! It reassures me that my selection of words was proper. I shall hereby refrain from calling you a Kaleun - only nonsensical mad minded lunatics find pleasure in depicting themselves as soldiers of a lost cause, the last Europe's Don Kichots riding steel coffins instead of lazy steeds. Have you ever seen a windmill in North Atlantic?

Consequently I can attest you have no cause to reprimand me on.

But let me ask you a question: if you - as you seem to be insisting on - are not a madman, then what are you doing here?

What is your name?

What is your quest?

What is your favourite colour?

It was my purpose to accentuate, not insist.
