Date : 02 Jan. 1940
Place : off the East Coast of the UK
Subject : Small UNLIGHTED Norwegian Freighter

I have passed about 3 larger but LIGHTED Norwegian Freighters several days ago . I know there Norwegian and neutral and technically not to be sunk . But I came across a smaller UNLIGHTED Norwegian Freighter , in coastal waters of the UK . Is that fair game ? Would you take her down ? As I always say " if your neutral , LIGHT YOUR FLAG ! "

dont want to spoil your learning curve (!) but refer to your flag chart, see when norway entered the war with the allies....

the flag chart says Apr 1940 . I know it neutral but it doesn't act it . Would you take it down ?

SH3 does not have lighted ships. Neutral ships are never lighted. GWX has lighted ships. They didn't light all of them, only some. In real life not all of them thought to turn the lights on.

SH3 will take away renown, i.e. penalize you, if you sink any neutral ship. The GWX manual explains all of this.

Oh sorry , Playing GWX . Yea I knew they penalized you for a "neutral ship sinking infraction " , but I wasn't sure of the consequences of taking down a neutral if it acted hostel or suspicious . In my case the latter was the reasoning . No lights , not maintaining a constance coarse and close proximity to the UK shoreline . Well I'm on pause until I got some feedback . I'll let her scoot on by . Thanx
