What happened to Markus??

Ok, before the DRM bomb, and World of Subcraft stuff, our main hangup here was soup. Soup, soup... soup. Soup posts, soup sigs, soup jokes. In the life of the SHV forum to date, soup was "The Golden Age". All of this was thanks to Markus the cook. I imagined walking past the little ratty lookin bugger.. "hey Captain".. for the 50th time... (wishing I had a /slap option).. "no thanks Markus" etc etc...

So now I ask you, where did our Markus go? Gone is the weasely looking little fella (no offence Dowly) and in his place we have Olaf. One of 3 hulking triplets! I think those 3 are planted there by Ubi, not the dev team. I didn't see any of them in the trailer.

I'll bet you Markus was being a stand up man. "No I won't cook magic soup! I just make good meals for my crew. DRM? Hell no. I am not going to refuse to feed them just because their internet crashed!"

When Ubi caught wind of this they had him.... removed.. and poof! We have Olaf. "It ees not DRM, it is OSP little gurly man, you vill eat it and like it! It pamps up your tourpedos!" They even admit, in their own words, on the SHV site that this man is a Nazi.

Then out of nowhere we have his siblings Erich, and Kurt with the cool nickname. It all smells fishy I tell ya.... If you cancelled your pre-order I hope you didn't give them your address already....

Seeing as the internet site looks slapped together in an hour by someone who didn't care enough to even spell check their work, I'd say Marcus is the least of our worries. If I put that kind of work out to our clients in my job, I'd be called on the red carpet for sure.

I can live with the odd typo, but the site was slapped together without any editorial input from someone who could speak English whatsoever.
